Not long back from a rather stressy evening walk; there was a large party of teenagers next to the Blue Lake, one of them openly displaying the catapult that no doubt will be used to shoot the waterfowl at some point.
It's happened before.
Made me feel very angry, and set off a storm of Tourette tics as I wandered around.
However, there were happier sights too. Bees at work on the allium, mummy and daddy goose with a gosling, the beautifully vivid green weevil that decided to sit on my leg for a bit. Mustn't forget these things when you have a bad day.

We have seen strange things today. Thankfully our youths were well behaved.
ReplyDeleteI would have to jump up and shake that green bug off my leg (probably squealing while I did it)! You are more calm with nature than me. Good pictures that I can enjoy! Thanks so much.
ReplyDeleteThank you both
