A Walk in the Rain

It has been duller than dull today, and again motivation has been hard to find - the tiredness that characterised my early weeks of lockdown seems to have returned.

That being said, I did managed to haul myself to the cricket ground, where some coaching was taking place, and then onto the park, happily listening to music coccooned in my horrendous yellow flouro cag-in-a-bag as the rain started to pour down.

It's another bee on bramble sort of day for my photographs, as there wasn't much to see on such a grim day. The exception to this was coming across a huge female buzzard at the back of our cricket ground, flushed from a tree and flying low across the farmland with wings like a plank.

The rain on the cricket square has attracted black headed gulls, who were doing a sort of formation advance across the grass digging up invertebrates with their beaks.

I'm hoping this lethargy will sort itself out as the weather warms up a bit. I need to keep my fitness up.

Si
