Flowers on the River Path

Well, for various reasons I was able to take a bit of a longer daytime walk than normal today, and with a chilly strong breeze in the air and not many insects about, I was able to concentrate on snapping some of the very colourful flowers that are growing in little plots in front of the flats by Waitrose.

Of course, I found my way to the cricket ground for a circuit or two, listening to a trite but diverting play on Radio 4.

So, today was not D-Day, but F Day. So now I have to think about how best to fill my days, rather than spend 20 hours sleeping which is what I'm worried will happen.
