Flowery Macros

Just did some test shots while out in the sun the other day, seeing what my camera could do at close range rather than the shaky trembly x36 bird shots!

These were mainly taken in the castle gardens, and then fluffy looking ones were taken in the tubs that line the river's edge towards the lock. These are the quintissential fish in a bucket shots, but it is nice to bring a bit of easy colour into people's lives.

I hope for more colour, in flutterer form, in the next few days, but the weather forecast doesn't look too favourable.

Si

  5. It certainly has cheered me up on this rather grey day today! A walk this afternoon will see me right.

  6. I love these shots Si, particularly the crocus ones. Crocus are such common flowers round here and yet we tend not to look inside them - and they are so beautiful, not least because they all have such huge stamens.

  7. Lovely colours in these pics Simon, simply beautiful :-)

Here's hoping for a bit of sun in the next few days to encourage those flutterers!
