Greedy Sluggies are at it Again

This time, they've been finding algae to graze off on the library windows.

Must be wonderful to find all that food and be able to just slither around slowly and eat; however I bet they have to worry about birds who might fancy a big fat slug.

These patterns are like expressions of chaos theory.

    1. Thank you very much! I try and keep my eyes open as much as I can. Slugs are probably better at reading than some of the locals.

  2. Did you know not all slugs are garden pests? Some only eat decayed plant matter and without them the land would be stuffed full of rotting plants. That said, the ones that do eat healthy plants are the bane of my husband's veg growing season :o)

    1. Don't plant his veg on library roofs then by the looks of things.

  3. Amazing. Are these the windows of your house? If so then your garden must be absolutely full of the little blighters.

  5. Love the patterns they leave, loving slugs and snails more this year as I am recording them at the nature reserve near my home. Not sure my plants are going to like it though!

  6. My slugs are gluttons for apricots. They eat them fit to burst. Then the other slugs arrive and eat the slugs that have died from overeating.
