It's too warm for the time of year. In fact it's predicted to remain 3 degrees C too warm for the rest of March in Austria. The same thing happened last year and resulted in €200,000,000 crop damage according to insurers. Not only that but we're having far too many bad air quality days - in the 6 months following mid-August 2016 the number of fresh air days as defined by WHO was in single figures, 6 I think it was, so the outlook is pretty grim if you take the long view. Sorry to be a damp squib but I think these things need to be flagged up even if there's nothing to be done to save the situation.
Pollution is now a terrible problem; people in London think they need cars to get around the place. As for this spring itself, it's been fairly average, I'd say.
What a lovely spring post. It's plus 10c here on Vancouver Island today, made me feel hopeful and happy.😂🌷🐆
