There's been Odd Goings on at Work

I rode into work today along the the cycle path to find that there was a new addition to it at the entrance gate.

Some very naughty drunk driver had come blasting up our driveway thinking it was the A1, and somehow managed to leave his car, airbags sagging over the steering wheel, athwart an embankment we use to keep out undesirables.

It happened around 415am on Sunday morning apparently, luckily not at the time of a shift change when there might have been folk on the path, and the car is still there, taped off.

They got the guy who was driving it; 4 times over the limit. Insane. And drivers complain about us cyclists!

My meadows at work lovely and yellow again, thick with birds foot trefoil. Lots of bees in attendance, mainly red tailed bumbles. Also identified the yellow flowers in the verge as cinquefoil of some kind.
