Demotivating Rain

After all my big ideas, the endless rain today sucked all the life out of me, and all I could manage was a 90 minute walk along the cycle path, trying to ignore it.

The wet makes the flowers look brighter, and fresher, by way of compensation. I like that. They make me want to drink a mojito when I see them glistening.

You can tell, I've just not exercised my brain today!

    Yes, I was out earlier on Friday in the rain!!!
    You got some great photo's though and I think the plants/flowers/trees seem to enjoy their drink of rain!

    You're right about the rain making the flowers look brighter Si - as your photos prove. Love the cowslips - must look if mine are out, i have one secret patch in the hedgerow. I think the sheep have eaten off the rest as they have done with the orchids.

    Lots of Spring colour there - lovely to see rain drops on the flowers and I really like the bluebell and gravestone photo. Plenty of rain here too recently :(
