About Me

My photo
Simon Douglas Thompson
Nature, by cycling, running, walking, musket and sextant! I'm a 41 year old runner, cyclist, and amateur astronomer and naturalist who enjoys writing about, and sometimes photographing a local environment in easy reach of everyone. I am also a great supporter of constructive use of open space, and would like to see more people making good use of the places they live in. I am also a science fiction writer, and screenwriter who has had short films produced by Lincoln University and the British Film Council. I'm hoping to gain a permanent paid position in the arts or charity sector.
